LTVEC Assistive Technology Center
The Equipment Lending Library is a service of the Assistive Technology Center at the Little TN Valley Educational Cooperative (LTVEC). Teachers, therapists and families from the following districts may borrow items from the library at no cost for trial use with their special needs students: Alcoa City, Athens City, Loudon County, Lenoir City, Monroe County, Meigs County, McMinn County and Sweetwater City.
The use of assistive technologies allows children of all abilities to explore learning through adaptive means. Borrowing items from the library allows for trial use before expending funds on devices that may/may not meet the student’s needs. In this catalog, you will find a description and picture of each item available for loan from the equipment library at LTVEC. A check-out procedure is in place and loans are generally limited to 60 days.
Our staff is available to provide instruction and assistance with use of all requested materials.
