AAC Goal Writing and Data Collection

Goal writing is something that takes continuous practice and tweaking. Sure, you might have found some great goal banks for speech, language, and fluency. But if you don’t have many AAC users on your caseload, you may struggle with coming up with quality goals for those kids! Goal writing can be extra hard for areas you don’t support often!

I have also struggled with data collection for some of the AAC students I support. But sometimes, you just need some empirical data to back up the great therapy you’re doing! Well, here are some tools that have helped me to up my data game and step me through not only the goal writing but the data collection as well!
