UpSquad!

What is UpSquad? The new assistive technology (AT) community and listserv offered by the Assistive Technology Project. As a program of the Tennessee Technical Assistance Network (TN-TAN), our goal is to foster collaboration and provide supportive resources for educators and related service providers across the state who use assistive technology to support the needs of students with disabilities, ages 3 – 22.

Although UpSquad looks like other social media channels, it is a private platform moderated by our team of AT specialists. Your contact information will never be shared outside of this network and the platform is ad-free.

When you sign up to participate, you can “meet” other people across Tennessee working in AT, meet virtually with our staff for technical assistance, ask questions on the forum, find out about upcoming AT Project events, and more. You will always have control of your engagement – on your desktop, using the mobile app, or just receiving emails.

(NOTE: Requests for guidance should never include any identifying student information in the post.)

The AT Project does not endorse or recommend one product over another; our goal is to share resources from all assistive technology domains. Posts made by participants regarding a particular product or other training opportunities do not imply endorsement by the Tennessee Department of Education.
