Assistive Technology Project for Education

It’s a ‘free’ world right now!

I know we are all doing what we can to hang on during this crisis so let’s make the best use of our newfound ‘free time’. How about some free learning opportunities to boost your skills with assistive technology over the coming months?! Our AT Center has continued to provide services to staff within our schools since they closed and we’ve spent a lot of time putting together some great new learning resources for everybody. Let’s start off with this lil’ freebie…

Free & Frugal: Assistive Technology on a Budget

Right now a LOT of vendors are offering free access to their programs and products until the end of the school year (see our list here), but there are a TON of ‘always free’ resources that you may not be aware of. In this session, we will cover free (and almost free) AT resources to address communication, reading, writing, math, memory, organization, focus, and fun.

Sessions are currently 60-minutes long and provided via video-conference format. All sessions will be available onsite, in-person once we have been permitted to return to the real world! If you are interested in this free training, please contact the AT Center at at.center@ltvec.org. Free is our friend…and is always in the budget!
