I Can Wear a Mask

School is back for many of our students with special needs and because of COVID-19 many of them will be expected to wear a face mask or interact with others who are. This printable social story reinforces the idea that masks are not scary and that lots of their favorite heroes and community helpers also wear masks all the time. The story includes interactive mask pieces that the student can place onto the cowboy, ninja, superhero, hockey player, firefighter, and doctor. The interactive pages include PCS communication support symbols for the core words put and on--"Put on mask."
